So what does the bipartisan budget agreement that Congress just passed mean to, you know, people who don’t follow this stuff closely? Turns out this agreement will let us invest in important early education programs like Head Start and prevent per-student education funding from falling to the lowest levels since 2000 (adjusted for inflation). Without additional funds, Head Start would serve roughly 17,000 fewer kids than in 2014. Learn more at go.wh.gov/BudgetDeal.
